School Budget Meeting

This is a very important meeting to attend as the school’s budget makes up 62% of our taxes in Waldo. Let’s have a great turnout like we did for our annual town meeting where 70 Waldo registered voters came out!
Although the overall budget is only increasing 1.40%; Waldo’s increase is 4.2%, which would be another $34,022 on top of our $812,128.64 current commitment for the 2025/2026 school year. It’s always good to know how our tax dollars are being spent, and this is a great way to be informed.
We have received the date of the Annual School Budget meeting along with a few booklets of their budget proposal if anyone would like a copy (available at the town office).
