SPECIAL NOTICE:  With Memorial Day a approaching we’d like to remind you to alert us if you know of a veteran who has not been getting a flag on  Veterans  and Memorial  Days. Please leave a message with the Town Office and we’ll add it to the list.

As you visit the cemeteries and refresh the graves please remove all  unwanted materials from the cemetery  grounds, and dispose of them with your household trash. Please do not toss of any materials on the edges of the Cemetery grounds. 

Although it has  been Waldo’s custom to leave veterans’ flags up all year,  the Select Board has made the decision to  observe the American Legion’s recommendation  to remove the flags shortly after the holidays, as American flags left out overnight must be illuminated with the exception of brief placement such as on Veterans  and Memorial Days.
